Who's ready for a college weekend at Clemson University! Go Tigers!
There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with my kids. I have four very different children. My oldest son just graduated UMass Amherst with an English degree. My older daughter is a senior at Clemson, majoring in BioChem, and my younger daughter is an incoming freshman at UMass Amherst's Isenberg School of Business. My youngest son is a junior in high school.
Some of my best memories have been spent visiting my daughter at Clemson! College football, tailgating, and good BBQ...what could be better than watching a top college football team up front and in person? After watching Deshaun Watson play and lead his team to the National Championship, I will remain a Tiger fan..even with my younger daughter going to UMass Amherst! And let's just talk about the amazing BBQ they've got there..Nothing beats The Smokin' Pig, http://thesmokinpigsc.com/. This is our big guilty pleasure when visiting!
“Think about your dream. Then, put your head down and go to work." Dabo Swinney
“You’re never going to be a great program if you lose a game and your season’s over and you act like the world’s coming to an end; [like] none of the other games matter. That’s a bad attitude and you’re probably going to live a miserable life.” Dabo Swinney
What can I say? I couldn't live with just one quote from one of the greatest, inspirational coaches of all time!!
When in Clemson...
Don't miss out on visiting The South Carolina Botanical Gardens and Greenville. Both are beautiful and worth exploring. Also..some great spots for breakfast NOT TO BE MISSED are Sunnyside Cafe and Pot Belly Deli (#College #weekend #vacation #football #BBQ #Clemson #Tigers #Tailgating)
We've had fun times tailgating at The Esso Club at Clemson..it's never too early! Game time is simply AMAZING, and we never leave Clemson without eating at The Smokin' Pig...so good!
